Mainly because Scottish motorcyle dealers now seem to cater only to the occasional, low mileage, sunny day riders. I got fed up with the hassle of waiting 6+ weeks for service slots, sales staff who don’t know their product & how to sell effectively, & sub-standard/dangerous workmanship from pretendy ‘technicians’. I get 128mpg from my PCX, self-service it, & it lives at my apartment in Spain for using when I’m there.
Car use only for me in Scotland these days. If car dealers here offered the same service bike dealers do, they’d be out of business within months!
